Emerging Infections of International Health Importance
EPI 529 DL The overall objective of this course is to develop a realistic appreciation of the importance of emerging infectious diseases to the future of international health practice. Students are introduced to cutting-edge theories in the field, and gain tools to examine the importance of new diseases. Particular diseases are discussed, with emphasis on their public health implications.
