Atmospheric Sciences
ATM S 101 (NW) This course introduces the earth's atmosphere to non-major students, with an emphasis on weather observations and forecasting. Daily weather map discussions are highlighted. Highs, lows, fronts, clouds, storms, jet streams, air pollution, and other features of the atmosphere are covered. The physical processes involved in weather phenomena are also introduced.
This course is intended for non-majors and will also fulfill the Natural World (NW) requirement.
