Brian Alonso
Principal, Genesys Software, Inc.
Alonso has been working in various capacities as a software developer for over 25 years, working mostly with Microsoft products. Recently, he has been building and maintaining ASP.Net 1.1 and 2.0 Web sites and Web Services in C# and VB.Net. In addition to his consulting practice, Brian has developed and taught courses in Visual Basic.NET for other organizations. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a Masters in Computer Science.
Kevin Mullin
Senior Software Support Analyst, IBM
Mullin serves as a senior analyst with IBM, responsible for the maintenance and support of UNIX System Services, provided on IBM z/OS mainframe operating systems. He has taught courses in the areas of C programming, UNIX system administration, and Windows Programming at the University of Washington since 1994. He also has been teaching .NET development with C# since its inception.
Randal Root
Root is a senior consultant specializing in technical education. For the last eight years, he has provided training at both businesses and schools, such as Microsoft, the University of Washington, and Bellevue Community College. His subjects include Windows, Web, and Database programming, as well as networking and administration. Recently, he co-authored the book A Tester's Guide to .NET Programming (Apress), and is currently working on another. Randal holds several Microsoft professional certifications including MCSE, MCP+I, MCDBA, and MCAD and has worked in the industry as a network administrator and programmer since the 1980s.
