Ernest (Ernie) Hughes

Hughes has been an adjunct college professor for over 25 years, teaching courses in entrepreneurship and innovation, leadership development, technology management and organizational change. He is the CEO of The Systems Thinking Company, an education and consulting organization focused on achieving individual and organizational success from a systems perspective. An executive, manager, coach and trainer, Hughes has had broad leadership responsibility for technology and systems in many types of organizations. In 2002, he earned the Anderson Award for Outstanding Achievement given by Recreational Equipment Incorporated (REI) for his leadership. He has also founded a number of organizations, including a nonprofit and community college. Hughes holds a doctorate in educational leadership and a master's in software engineering from Seattle University, and an M.B.A. and bachelor's in computer science from California State University.

John Blommers

Blommers is the chief consultant at iTech Consulting. He earned his master's of applicable mathematics from the University of Victoria, and also holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia. Blommers has a 19-year history with Hewlett-Packard, where he worked as a technical consultant to the sales force for servers and storage. He delivered network design and simulation-based network capacity planning services to HP customers while with the HP consulting group. Blommers has also written three books: Practical Planning for Network Growth, Architecting Enterprise Solutions with Unix Networking, and OpenView Network Node Manager.
