An introduction to software testing. Topics include the software testing cycle, the role of the tester in the software development life cycle, and software quality assurance techniques, approaches and processes. Participants build terminology and definitions, and learn peer review and inspection processes for defect prevention.

Test Design and Tracking

An application of validation testing processes from designing test scripts to implementation. Through hands-on real-life case study exercises, participants learn to track defects and document results.

Topics include planning and executing validation activities for defect detection after requirements are coded.
