Instructors

Daniel Morgan

Morgan has more than 30 years of experience in information systems development and administration, consulting, technical publishing and education, in addition to being a small business owner. His experience covers the full spectrum of computer hardware and operating systems from mainframe to personal. Morgan has developed and evaluated systems and system requirements for organizations such as AEI Music, AT&T Wireless, The Boeing Company, the City of Seattle, Onyx Software, US West and Washington Mutual Bank. He is currently a managing partner in Advanced Technology Services, and is co-chair of the WSA (Washington Software Alliance) Database Special Interest Group.

Robert Perry

Perry has more than 30 years experience in database administration, the last 15 to 20 using Oracle (starting with Oracle 5.0). He has more than 25 years of experience with Boeing as a production support database administrator. He has worked with internet companies setting up Oracle databases, and with Telecoms setting up production data centers, as well as a number of large projects at Boeing. He is currently supporting a number of customer facing applications for Boeing Commercial Airplane; and is responsible for Oracle backup and recovery: tools, policies and procedures for The Boeing Company Puget Sound data centers.
