Lorelee Bauer, M.A.
Staffing and Diversity Manager, Puget Sound Energy

Bauer joined Puget Sound Energy in 2006; she and her staff are responsible for recruiting and "on boarding" staff to fill positions throughout the 2,600 person organization. Bauer has worked in human resources and training for a variety of employers and industries including: healthcare, banking, manufacturing, high tech, direct mail marketing, and chemical research. Her work has taken her to several communities throughout the states of California, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma and Washington.

Judy Clark, CPC, SPHR
President, HR Northwest and HR Answers, Inc.

Clark serves as president of a human resource consulting firm, as well as president of a national human resource risk management firm with over 1,800 clients in 41 states. She has more than 25 years of human resource experience, and has taught the compensation course at UW Extension for 13 years. Clark is active in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Oregon Association of Management Consultants.

Linda Callecod
Partner and Senior Consultant, The Effectiveness Institute

Callecod was formerly divisional vice president for diversity and organizational learning at the Bon Marché. She founded and directed the Bon Marché Training Academy, a corporate university-style training and development program for managers and executives.

Rick Kaiser, MSW,J.D.
Attorney, Sebris Busto James

Currently defending employers in all areas of employment and labor litigation, Kaiser conducts workplace investigations and counsels employers on employment policies and practices. He formerly worked at the Law Department of Starbucks and as a forensic social worker for the State of Washington.

Maureen Ryan, J.D., SPHR
President, The Fairway Firm, Inc.

A private attorney specializing in both HR management and legal compliance (staffing, compensation, investigations and discipline, diversity, immigration and performance management), Ryan was an HR manager and compliance specialist with The Boeing Company. She has over twenty years experience as an attorney.

Dennis Stevenson, Ph.D., SPHR, CEBS
Stevenson and Associates

With more than twenty years experience in human resources, underwriting and benefits, Stevenson's HR experience includes service as Director of HR for an international manufacturer, and VP and Director of Training and Development for a large regional insurance broker.

Michael Walters, MBA
Senior HR Business Partner, Microsoft

Walters provides human resources leadership to the Entertainment and Devices division of Microsoft, where he supported the teams that launched Halo 3, Zune MP3 players, and consumer mobile experiences cumulatively responsible for approximately $1 billion in revenue. Before moving to Seattle, he served as the Western Regional HR Director for Nielsen Entertainment in Hollywood, CA. Walters has taught HR Management through UCLA Extension and has been a featured speaker at Human Resources Association conferences in Los Angeles, CA.
