Participants in this program increase their understanding of acute and chronic mental health needs of older adults, and gain important practical skills in diagnosing and treating these needs. Courses are designed to provide the latest information and practice skills.
The program consists of five 21-hour courses. The five courses are offered over the course of the academic year and may be taken in any order. Courses typically meet on Thursdays or Fridays, once a month. Participants must successfully complete all five courses within two years to earn the certificate.
All courses in this certificate program may be taken as individual, stand-alone courses; for more information, visit the Courses and How to Register pages.
