Instructor
Thomas Schmitt, Operations Management Professor in the UW Business School, is Executive Director of UW's Global Trade Transportation and Logistics (GTTL) Graduate Interdisciplinary Program. He is also Chairman of the Faculty Advisory Board for GTTL Program (1997-present), and has been selected four times as Professor of the Quarter at UW. Greg Shelton is Managing Director of the Global Trade, Transportation and Logistics Studies (GTTL) program at the University of Washington. He serves as Affiliate Instructor with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Affiliate Faculty with Herbert J. Ellison Center for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies, and Canadian Studies Center of the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. Additionally, Greg serves as a member of the Pacific Northwest Canadian Studies Consortium, the Global U8 Consortium, and numerous other professional organizations and ad-hoc committees. He has more than 30 years of instructional, research, analytical and technical experience, in the fields of international trade and transportation, languages, and cross-cultural communication.
