Focus in depth on a selected project to better understand the course of your ancestors' lives and the lives of the subsequent family members. Uncover fascinating stories not just about your past, but also about the forces and people behind societal transformations.
What the Program Covers
- Genealogical research and techniques within the context of family history
- Records, photography conservation and interpretation, and software tools
- Oral history and interviewing techniques
- Location and interpretation of historical records
- Immigration, ethnicity, social structure, and demographic changes
- Development and completion of a research project
