Instructors

Dedicated to their professions, instructors are leading professionals in the field:

Don Baker, PMP, MBA
Senior Vice President, Bank of America

Baker has managed the design, production and delivery of more than $500 million in strategic capital projects. He has also lived with the operation of projects for several years after completion, and consequently has a keen appreciation for the life-cycle impacts of facility investment decisions. Baker has directed a large-scale communication network project that included infrastructure design and construction, development of a service product portfolio, organization and implementation of a sales plan and creation of a transition program into the full-scale production operation. He has also developed and operated his own professional consultant practice. As West Region project director, he currently is responsible for more than 600 projects across eight states, with more than $150 million in capital projects in production.

Gerald W. Ronningen-Fenrich, AIA
Architect, Ronningen-Fenrich, LLC

Ronningen-Fenrich is a licensed architect and certified project manager with over 25 years of experience in facility planning, design, construction commissioning and occupancy. He has managed projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $115 million for government agencies, universities and corporations. His company provides consulting services to building owners and facilities managers in the areas of design and construction management, critical path scheduling, cost control, construction quality control and project completion.

Brad Taylor
Director of Operations & Maintenance, Northshore School District

Active in facility renovations and tenant improvement, Taylor has 15 years experience as a supervisor of construction with projects ranging up to $7 million dollars. Many of these projects were existing occupied buildings and involved primarily wireless technology customers ranging from databases buildings to customer care facilities.
