Neil Carroll
Senior Consultant, Tech-North Consulting, Inc.

With more than 20 years of experience in systems development and database administration, Carroll has worked with several database management systems including IBM's DB2, IMS and Oracle. He has held positions as project manager with Canadian Airlines, DBA for Japan Travel Bureau, and manager of information services for Saudi International Airports. Carroll's degrees are in engineering and business. He has taught at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.

Roger Cox
Software Engineering Unit Manager, Boeing Aerodynamics and Propulsion

Cox has more than 30 years of software experience. He worked for more than 25 years with the U.S. Air Force in information systems and engineering manufacturing technologies. Cox has a master's degree in engineering and computer science, and over 25 years of teaching experience, with an emphasis on databases and information management.

Arun Nisargand
Manager, Large Scale Test Systems, Boeing Commercial Airplanes

Nisargand has worked as a software technology manager and lead engineer on system engineering and functional integration projects. He has also developed database applications using dBaseIII and Microsoft Access software for distributed environments. Besides the UW, Nisargand has taught in training programs at Boeing and the Graduate Center in Richland, Wash.

Aaron Solomon
Senior Consultant, Hitachi Consulting

Solomon is a member of the data intensive analysis practice of Hitachi Consulting. His work has encompassed designing and building databases to estimate damages in class action litigations, developing business intelligence systems to be used by upper-level management, and developing data quality assurance tools. He is especially interested in the large volumes of complex data that are processed in the telecom industry.
