Richard Hobbs, FAIA
President, Strategy Design
Hobbs is an adviser to the professional design community, providing vision and strategy for professional service firms and organizations. He has more than 20 years of experience in private practice, including 10 years as AIA vice president for professional practice, and two years as AIA resident fellow for marketplace research. Hobbs is an adjunct associate professor at the University of Hawaii's School of Architecture, and the author of more than 100 articles in AIArchitect on the changing practice of architecture. He holds a bachelor of architecture from the University of Washington and a master of science of architecture from Columbia University.
Roger Williams

Williams has over 40 years of experience in residential and custom design, International practice, global design, and sustainable building technology. He has edited and illustrated a number of books, and authored the chapter on International practice for the 13th edition of the Architect's Handbook. Involved in multiple economic development efforts in the U.S. and abroad, Williams' expertise and enthusiasm have made him a frequent presenter, sharing American perspectives on design for organizations both within and outside the US. He has taught classes in design and International practice for the UW, Washington State University, and Cornish School of the Arts. Williams earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from the California State Polytechnic University, and his master's in architecture from the University of Washington.
