Justin McAnn
Director of Forensic Consulting, Haleon

McAnn is a certified security professional with over 12 years of IT professional work experience and extensive experience in computer forensics, investigations, incident response and security engineering. McAnn has performed thousands of computer forensic examinations in over 450 investigations and cases. Prior to his current position at Haleon, McAnn served as Manager of Electronic Evidence and Forensic Services at Lighthouse Document Technologies and as Director of Forensic Operations with NTI Associates performing management duties as well as forensic services. Prior to that McAnn was a Sr. Forensic Investigator for AT&T/Cingular Wireless for the majority of his career. He served as an expert witness, special master and has participated in numerous depositions. He developed procedures and security controls for maintaining evidence and chain of custody. His computer examiner expertise includes the use of Guidance Software's EnCase and Access Data's Forensic Tool Kit (FTK).

William Nelson
Lead, Computing Investigations, Fortune 50 company; and Computing Forensic Examiner and Curriculum Developer, Law Offices of Christopher K. Steuart, Seattle

For the past eight years, Nelson has been responsible for computing investigation within a Fortune 50 company. In this capacity, Nelson created an internal company training program on computer forensics for security investigators. He also conducts training workshops for corporate IT professionals and provides consultation to IT professionals and law enforcement investigators on computing investigation technical issues. Nelson is the lead author of Guide to computer forensics and Investigations.

Brett Shavers
President, e3Discovery

Currently serving as President of the Computer Technology Investigators Network (CTIN), Shavers began his career as a digital forensics investigator in law enforcement and was trained by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, the US Department of Homeland Security, the National White Collar Crime Center, AccessData, X-Ways Forensics, and other forensic software manufacturers. His prior law enforcement duties included assignments in state and federal task forces in Washington, with investigations spanning multiple countries and states. He has also worked as a Managing Principal for New Technologies Incorporated (NTI), where he managed electronic evidence in civil litigation matters. He now owns his own electronic discovery company. Shavers has testified as a computer forensics expert, has been court appointed as a Special Master, and has given multiple depositions in civil and criminal matters ranging from internal corporate matters to class action litigation.

Christopher K. Steuart
Attorney

In addition to his practice as an attorney, Steuart has eight years of investigative experience in information systems security for a Fortune 50 company, and his law office today includes a computer forensics component. He has presented many classes and continuing legal education on topics such as the physical security of information systems, investigation of criminal misuse of information systems, and workplace privacy issues in regional and national forums, including the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Agora, National Institute for Government Innovation at George Washington University (NIGI), and Computer Technology Investigators Network (CTIN). He has been interviewed on the subject of computer forensics for National Public Radio's Morning Edition and is a co-author of Guide to Computer Forensics and Investigations.
