Buddy D. Ratner, Ph.D.
Professor, Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering, University of Washington
Ratner is the director of the UW Engineered Biomaterials (UWEB) program, a National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center. His research interests include biomaterials, polymers, biocompatibility, surface analysis of organic materials, self-assembly and RF-plasma thin film deposition. Paul Yager, Ph.D.
Professor and Acting Chair, Bioengineering, University of Washington
Yager's research interests include microfluidic devices for chemical and biochemical measurement, development of point-of-care diagnostic instruments, and the biophysics of self-organizing lipid systems. He is a member of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineers College of Fellows. Biosensors.
Amar Yahiaoui, Ph.D.
Lecturer, University of Washington
Yahiaoui has many years of experience teaching fundamental and advanced concepts in chemistry to diverse student audiences. He is involved in the research of polymeric delivery systems and engineering composite materials. Medical Chemistry.
