Michael Luckevich
Michael Luckevich is a part-time instructor and community organizer serving the autism community. In 2006, he retired as Vice President with Hitachi Consulting, based in Seattle, where he was responsible for the Business Intelligence Practice. In his role, Luckevich worked with industry and technology leaders throughout the country to identify trends in the Business Intelligence market and develop innovative solutions to address significant business issues.
Prior to joining Hitachi Consulting, Luckevich was co-founder of Aspirity LLC, a business intelligence boutique consultancy. Aspirity was acquired by Hitachi Consulting in the spring of 2004. Luckevich is co-author of the book Business Intelligence: Making Better Decisions Faster. Luckevich graduated from the University of Waterloo faculty of Mathematics.
Brian Miller
Brian has worked with SQL Server since the 1991 and is currently the Avanade Technology Solutions BI Practice Lead for the Seattle office. He has designed and implemented BI solutions at Microsoft, Gates Foundation, Corbis, Expedia, and various other organizations in the Seattle area. His primary area of interest is in creating business process rigor, structure, and automation for interface points between technologists and business decision-makers. Originally from New York City, he holds an MBA from NYU and an Economics degree from Columbia University.
Darwin Schweitzer
Darwin Schweitzer has a continuing passion for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing technology and would value the opportunity to immerse you in the theory, tools, and techniques of Data Mining. Darwin has 15+ years of BI experience gained through roles as an application and data architect, consultant, program manager, trainer, technical lead, and sales consultant of enterprise software and solutions. He has held positions at information technology vendors (Microsoft, Business Objects), and worked for companies in a varieties of industries (healthcare, financial services, insurance, pharmaceuticals). Darwin has been a well-known speaker at the Microsoft Executive Briefing Center and specializes in Microsoft BI technologies (Data Mining, ETL, Reporting and Analysis), BI Platforms, and BI competitive strategy. Most recently he led the development of technical readiness and training curriculum for some of the Microsoft Industry Solutions Group products. Darwin holds a MBA from TCU in Marketing and Management
