New frameworks make it easier to create rich Web experiences using AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) techniques. This program offers the skills necessary to build a new breed of dynamic Web applications on Web 2.0. Anyone who has used Flickr, Google Maps, Google Suggest or Gmail has benefited from applications built around AJAX. Discover how AJAX helps developers to create dynamic Web application experiences.
Is This Program Right for You?
The program is designed for Web designers and developers who want to gain skills for developing rich Web 2.0 front ends with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX, and for using direct, component and server-driven AJAX frameworks in Web application development. To succeed in this program, participants will need the foundation provided by the UW Certificate Program in Web Technology Solutions, or equivalent experience.
