Intensive Analysis of Accounting Principles I
Schedule: (14 sessions) Wednesdays: Oct. 1-Dec. 10, 2008 (no class Nov. 26), 6:00-9:00 p.m., and Saturdays: Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Nov. 8, Nov. 22, 2008, 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m., $1,799; 6 credits. Orientation: Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, 6:00-7:30 pm.
Note: First day of class is Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 on the UW Seattle campus. The Saturday classes will be held in Bellevue.
This course covers the equivalent of the first two intermediate financial accounting courses. Selected topics:

- Conceptual framework of accounting
- Financial statements
- Revenue recognition
- Receivables and inventory systems
- Liabilities

Winter
Intensive Analysis of Accounting Principles II
Schedule: (14 sessions) Wednesdays, Jan. 7-Mar. 11, 2009; 6:00-9:00 p.m., and Saturdays: Jan. 10, Jan. 24, Feb. 21, Feb. 28; 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m., $1,799; 6 credits

This course covers the third intermediate financial accounting course as well as topics in cost/managerial accounting.

This course covers both auditing standards and principles as well as the federal tax effects of business decisions.
