The University of Washington Evening Master of Science in Physics program is designed for working professionals who wish to attend graduate school part-time and earn a terminal master’s degree. Students build on knowledge gained in an undergraduate degree in physical science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science. Taught by full-time UW Physics faculty, the program explores the theory and applications of electromagnetics and quantum physics, and includes advanced specialized courses for research scientists and engineers. This program is not intended as preparation for admission to the UW Physics Ph.D. program.
