Admission

I want to earn a second bachelor's degree

What do I need to submit to apply?

Application Checklist for Postbaccalaureate Applicants

For applicants who have already earned a baccalaureate degree, a complete application file consists of:

Former UW students: Former UW students do not need to request their UW transcripts. However, former UW students who first enrolled at the UW more than 10 years ago must submit official transcripts from other institutions; previously submitted records are no longer on file. Former UW students who have attended the UW only as nonmatriculated, graduate or professional students must submit official transcripts to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This is the applicant's responsibility; Admissions will not request that documents originally sent to other offices, including Graduate Admissions, be transferred.

The Office of Admissions can serve you better – and faster – if all documents required to complete your admission file arrive together. For both high school and college transcripts, ask the schools to send official transcripts directly to you, not the UW. Remember to keep them sealed in their original envelopes. When you have collected all the transcripts, put them in one large envelope along with the application, application fee, and personal statement, and mail the packet to the UW.
